
This trophy, along with the British-America, Lipton and Performance Sailcraft trophies, was established in 1967. It is usually sailed in larger yawls and more recently in the U.S. Naval Academy 44's. It is a match race series between two teams with three races comprising the series. The first winner of two races wins the series.
