Three days of sailing in big wind and shifty conditions created opportunities for major leaderboard shake ups but, after it all, the Harvard University Crimson are the 2025 College Sailing Open Team Race National Champions.
Conditions were challenging at the 2025 College Sailing Women’s Team Race Championship. Racing had to be cut off on Saturday as gusts measured above 40 knots and multiple capsizes made continuing the Round of 12 too dangerous. The Yale University Bulldogs and the Stanford University Cardinal ended the day with a perfect record of 9-0 and 8-0 respectively–putting Yale in the lead and Stanford in second, leaving Harvard University and Tulane University tied for third with a 6-3 record.
The NEISA Awards committee has announced the 2025 All-NEISA teams following the conclusion of the Spring regular season. In addition to the teams, the committee has announced the following awards: NEISA Babineau Crew of the Year, NEISA Women's Crew of the Year, NEISA Open Skipper of the Year, NEISA Women's Skipper of the Year, NEISA Open Rookie of the Year, NEISA Women's Rookie of the Year, NEISA Sportsperson and Sportswoman of the Year, Senior Trophy, Student Leadership Award and Coach of the Year.
