Minneapolis, Minn. (May 20, 2013) – The Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) recently honored four individuals for their contributions to the sport of college sailing by inducting them into the ICSA Hall of Fame. Skye Kussmann (Stonington, Conn.) was recognized with the James Rousmaniere Award for student leadership; Daniel Winters (Hampton, Va.) was honored with the Lifetime Service Award; Michael O’Connor (Foxboro, Mass.) was awarded the Graham Hall Award for Outstanding Service by a college sailing professional; and Sheryl B. “Sherri” Campbell (San Diego, Calif.) was awarded Outstanding Service by a volunteer.

Thirty-five college sailing teams descended on Hampton University and Hampton Yacht Club this weekend for the Intercollegiate Sailing Association's (ICSA) National Championship Semi-Finals co-hosted by Hampton and Old Dominion Universities. Supporting sponsors were LaserPerformance and U.S. Sailing.

Austin, Texas (April 26, 2013) – Audiences will watch live as the top young athletes in the nation compete for college sailing’s highest honors at the spring national championships this May. Chris Love Productions will be on site at the Magnuson Hotel Marina Cove in St. Petersburg, Fla. to provide video highlights throughout the final two days of the Sperry Top-Sider / ICSA Women’s Nationals and live streaming video coverage during the final two days of the ICSA / APS Team Race Nationals. This year’s video coverage is provided by LaserPerformance as part of the company’s long term support of college sailing.

Hampton, Va. (April 25, 2013) – Hampton and Old Dominion Universities are co-hosting the 2013 Intercollegiate Sailing Association’s Semi-finals at Hampton University and Hampton Yacht Club. The regatta this weekend, April 27 – 28, marks the first time that Hampton University, a historically black university, has hosted an event of this size related to a college sailing national event.

The 2013 BUSA Tour selections have been from an applicant pool of 13 highly experienced College Sailors. The ICSA Team will compete in 5 Matches, from July 10th through August 3rd, in a variety of classes.

In accordance with Article VI, Section 3, of the By Laws of the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association of North America, Inc. (“Bylaws”), notice is hereby given that the Semi Annual (Winter) Meeting of the Intercollegiate Sailing Association of North America will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013.
