***Nicolosi and Arcot are named the NEISA OPEN SAILORS OF THE WEEK***
Branford, CT—9/11/22 - Yale's Teddy Nicolosi '24 and Anisha Arcot '23 kicked off NEISA's first weekend of Fall competition with an impressive B-division win on home turf at the Harry Anderson, finishing 23-points ahead of second. The duo finished in the top five in nine of the 12 races sailed in a weekend of light air. Their performance helped lead their team to the overall win at the regatta.
***Sibilly and Schumann are named the NEISA WOMENS SAILORS OF THE WEEK***
Cambridge, MA—9/11/22 - The Boston College Eagles' Caroline Sibilly '26 and Sara Schumann '25 are our Women's Sailors of the Week after a stellar performance on the River. The weekend was characterized by light breeze. They finish in the top five in 12 of the 14 races sailed, a truly impressive start to the young pair's fall season.
***Around the Conference***
Congrats to Bowdoin for winning the Harman Trophy and to Coast Guard for winning the Pine Trophy. In addition to the Polar Bears and the Bears, the following teams are advancing to the NEISA Match Race qualifiers later in October: Maine Maritime, Tufts University, University Rhode Island, Yale, Boston College, and Brown University.
