***Zonnenberg and Murphy are the NEISA COED SAILOR OF THE WEEK***
Norfolk VA, 3/30/2015- The University of Vermont’s Michael Zonnenberg 15 and Bridget Murphy 15 have been named the NEISA COED Sailors of the Week. Zonnenberg and Murphy lead the Catamounts to a 3rd place finish at the Arron Szambecki team race Regatta hosted by ODU. The duo helped UVM advance to the final four and thirteen races at this highly competitive event.
***Isler and Doris are the NEISA WOMEN’S SAILORS OF THE WEEK***
Providence RI, Nov 03/30/2015-Yale’s Marly Isler 16 and Natalya Doris 17 have been named the NEISA Women’s Sailor of the Week for leading the Bulldogs to a second place finish at the Duplin Women’s Team Race Regatta. The pair helped the Bulldogs to a record of 14-4.
AROUND THE CONFERENCE
Yale won the Friis trophy. Roger Williamson was 3rd at the Admiral Moore. Boston College won the BC Team Race Invite. UVM won Southern Series and Tufts won the J70 Invite. Connecticut College won the Staake. At the Staake, both Connecticut College and Bowdoin qualified for the NE Team Race Championship hosted by Harvard April 11-12.
