Klingler and Woods are NEISA Women’s Sailors of the Week
Providence, RI - 4/2/19 – Christine Klingler ‘20 and Kira Woods ‘19 led Yale with a dominant performance in B-Division at the Dellenbaugh Women’s Trophy. Big Breeze dictated the event where the Bulldog tandem were unmatched. Klingler and Woods bested the next closest boat by an 18 point margin in their division leading to an overall victory for the Yale team. Having Klingler and Woods, arguably one of the best women’s boats in the nation, in B-Division has established Yale as a powerhouse on the national women’s sailing circuit.
Pemberton and Moreira are NEISA Coed Sailors of the Week

Boston, MA – 4/2/19 - Carter Pemberton ‘20 and Cecelia Moreira ‘20 led the Connecticut College team to a 14-8 record and a 4thplace finish at the 38thLynne Marchiando Trophy. The Marchiando is the premier interconference team race regatta held in NEISA and one of the most competitive team races of the year. Connecticut College, under the leadership of Pemberton and Moreira has evolved into an elite team race team, displayed by their performance last weekend. With next weekend’s NEISA Team Race Championship, the Fowle Trophy and 4 spots to the Laser Performance Team Race Nationals on the line, the camels are peaking at the right time. Much of that credit goes to Pemberton and Moreira.
Around the conference – Harvard University won the Marchiando Trophy, Yale University won the Dellenbaugh Trophy, Tufts won the Jumbo Team Race, University of Rhode Island won the Salve Saturday Invite, Tufts won the Harpswell Sound Team Race, Brown University won the BU Trophy and Salve University won the Salve Regina Sunday 2.
