Annapolis, MD – 11/6-7/21 – Sophia Reineke ’22 of Boston College has been named as the NEISA Women's Sailor of the Week for her second place performance at the ICSA Women’s Singlehanded National Championship held in Annapolis, MD. Reineke was in a neck and neck battle for the championship but came up just short against the best singlehanded sailors in the country winning five of the fourteen races. Sophia is a past winner of this championship.
Connor Nelson ’24 of Brown University has been named the NEISA Coed Sailor of the week after placing 6th in this year’s championship and was the top NEISA finisher at the event. Connor placed in the top 5 six times over 14 races and won the second race of the series.
