Week 5 Open
The Harvard University Crimson Justin Callahan '26 and Jacob Posner '29 are the NEISA Open Sailors of the Week. Their A-Division win at the Open Atlantic Coast Championship Round 1B came in dominant fashion winning the first three races and ultimately four of the total eight races in the event. Their performance propelled the Crimson to a 2nd place overall finish, just nine points behind the Brown Bears. This finish qualified the Crimson for the Atlantic Coast Championship Finals where they will look to reclaim their title from the 2023 season.
Week 5 Women
The Harvard University Crimson sailors Sophia Montgomery ’25 and Christina Chen ’27 are the NEISA Women Sailors of the Week. At the Stu Nelson, the duo took C-Division in dominant fashion, winning five of the seven races to a low point score across all three divisions. Their performance, along with the A and B-Division wins from their teammates, helped Harvard secure the overall regatta victory in convincing fashion, defeating 2nd place Stanford by 40 points.
