Lexington Park, MD – 10/1/2023 - Dartmouth College Maddie Hawkins and Lilly Baker have been named NEISA Women’s Sailors of the Week. The Big Green duo won 4 of 17 races finished in the top 5 in 15 of 17 races at the Women’s ACC first round hosted by St Mary’s College of Maryland. Hawkins and Baker lead the Dartmouth squad to a 4th place finish overall punching the Big Green's ticket to the ACCs finals at Harvard University at the end of October.
New London, CT – 10/1/2023 - The University of Rhode Island’s Miles Williams '24 and Eric Pohl '25 have been named NEISA Open Sailors of the Week. The Danmark Trophy was hosted at UCSCGA this weekend, it is one of the top Open fleet racing events of the year. The Rhody Ram duo having a personal best event, won 2 races and finished in the top 5 in 7 of 14 races in extreme current conditions. Miles Williams 24 and Eric Pohl 28 consistently put their boat in a positon to succeed in very puffy and tricky current to help lead the Rhody Rams to a 5th place finish overall in a very competitive field.
