Providence, RI – 9/24/23 – The Brown Bears’ Connor Nelson ’24 and Vera Allen ’27 are the NEISA Open Sailors of the Week following their A-Division win at the Sherman Hoyt Trophy last weekend. Senior Nelson and first-year Allen were a force on the water, finishing in the top five in 8 of the 14 races sailed, winning four of them. Their consistency in a highly-competitive fleet led to Brown’s overall win.
Brunswick, ME – 9/24/23 – Mia Nicolosi ’25 and Sarah Moeder ’26 of Yale are the NEISA Women’s Sailors of the Week after battling through some light and challenging conditions in the cold Northern waters of the Harpswell Sound. The pair won four of the five races sailed, and finished third on the other. Their performance in A-division, along with a strong B-division win, led to Yale’s win of the Mrs. Hurst Bowl.
