3/12/23 - First-year Hawk, Carlos de Castro '26 and crew Carly Kiss '25 are the open sailors of the week after winning the John Jackson Memorial Team Race hosted by Georgetown. The Roger Williams team had all first-year drivers, making their undefeated record against top MAISA teams all the more impressive. Carlos and Carly had great boat speed and boat handling in the big breeze, helping their team to the win.
3/12/23 - Carmen Cowles '25, Sarah Moeder '26 and Megan Grimes '23 are the women's sailors of the week after helping the Yale Bulldogs to second place and top NEISA team at the St.Mary's Women's Team Race. Saturday was breeze on, and Yale finished with a 10-1 record, only dropping one race to the winner, Stanford. Sunday never saw the breeze fill for a final four, so Yale wasn't able to get another go against Stanford for the win.
