Charleston, SC - 3/27/22 - Dartmouth kicked off the Spring season for NEISA women’s team racing down south at the Phoebe Corckran King Women’s Team Race hosted by College of Charleston. The field of seven teams included Charleston, Cornell, George Washington University, Jacksonville, Stanford, and the University of South Florida. Dartmouth finished second with a record of 17-4, finishing just behind Stanford (19-2), but not before taking one off the leaders in the final four round robin. Dartmouth’s strong starting and boat speed launched them into several play ones on the first beat.
We are looking forward to the Spring season ramping up this weekend with the Sharpe Team Race at Brown, Women’s Team Race at Harvard, McMerrick Cup Team Race at Roger Williams, and the Hap Moore Team Race at Connecticut College. Several teams will be travelling to out of conference competitions as well, we wish them luck! Go NEISA!
