New London, CT - 3/13/21 - The U.S. Coast Guard Academy Bears hosted the Connecticut College Camels and the Roger Williams University Hawks on the Thames River for the In-Conference Hap Moore Team Race. The “Hawks 2” won the event with a 12-2 record. Sailing for the winning team was Emily Gildea ’21, Riley Read ’21, John Walston ’22, Cameron Wood ’22, Annika Irene ’23 and Grace Woodcock ’23.
Saint Mary’s City, MD - 3/13/21 - The Saint Mary’s College of Maryland hosted the Two-Conference SMC Spring Fling Fleet Race. The Boston College “Eagles 1” team ended up with a solid third place overall and skipper Colleen O’Brien ’24 and crew Jack Plavan ’23 placed second in A-Division. “Eagles 1” was just two points shy of the clear win.
