The top 18 men and 18 women singlehanded college sailors from around the country returned to the US Sailing Center – Long Beach for the second day of racing in the 2012 LaserPerformance/ICSA Singlehanded Nationals off of the Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier in Long Beach, CA.

The top 18 men and 18 women singlehanded college sailors from around the country descended upon sunny Southern California and started sailing today in the 2012 LaserPerformance/ICSA Singlehanded Nationals off of the Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier in Long Beach, CA.

The top 18 men and 18 women singlehanded college sailors from around the country will descend upon sunny Southern California starting Friday, November 2nd to compete in the 2012 LaserPerformance/ ICSA Singlehanded Nationals off of the Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier in Long Beach, CA.

INTERCOLLEGIATE SAILING ASSOCIATION NAMES 2012 ALL-ACADEMIC SAILING TEAM

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. (October 22, 2012) – The Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) has named its 2012 All-Academic Sailing Team. The 2012 All-Academic Sailing Team recognizes collegiate sailors who have achieved excellence in national and inter-conference competition as well as excelling at the highest academic level for the 2011 – 2012 academic year. A nominated sailor must have a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale), junior or senior academic standing and they must be a key starter or reserve on a school’s sailing team. Each school is allowed three nominations.
