NEISA Women’s Sailors of the Week, Weekend 8, Fall 2016


New London, CT - 10/30/16 - Yale's Casey Klingler '18 and Natalya Doris '17 won A-division at the Victorian Coffee Urn Trophy at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and are the NEISA Women's Sailors of the Week.  Klingler and Doris finished in the top four in nine of the 12 races in a wide range of conditions in the 15-boat fleet.  Their 13-point division win led the Yale Bulldogs to first place overall.


AROUND THE CONFERENCE
Congratulations to Yale, MIT, Bowdoin, Boston College, Harvard, Coast Guard, Dartmouth, and Tufts on finishing 1st through 8th respectively at the Erwin Schell Trophy and qualifying for the Atlantic Coast Dinghy Championship, November 12-13, at MIT.  Congratulations to Yale, URI, Boston University, Coast Guard, Harvard, Boston College, and Connecticut College on finishing 1st through 7th respectively at the Victorian Coffee Urn Trophy and qualifying for the Atlantic Coast Women’s Championship, November 12-13, at the College of Charleston.  The Boston University Terriers won the Freshmen Interconference for the Nickerson Trophy hosted by Tufts.  Johnson and Wales University won the NEISA Fall Tournament hosted by  Connecticut College.
