NEISA Women’s Sailor of the Week, Weekend 10, Fall 2017

***Sophia Reineke is the NEISA Women’s Sailor of the Week***

St Petersburg, FL—11/8/17-Sophia Reineke ’21 of Boston College won the ICSA women’s singlehanded national championship hosted by the University of South Florida this past weekend.  Reineke claimed the championship with an incredibly consistent performance in fickle conditions in the 12-race contest.  While Reineke only claimed victory in one race, she only finished outside the top 8 one time, a level of consistency that went unmatched.  Dana Rohde ’18 of the US Coast Guard Academy claimed second place overall, trailing by only one point.
