NEISA Sailors of the Week, Weekend 7, Fall 2016

***Lalumiere and McElvainn are the NEISA COED SAILORS of the Week***

Cranston, RI—10/23/16-Charles Lalumiere ’17 and Rebecca McElvain ‘19 of Dartmouth College are the NEISA Sailors of the Week for winning A-division at the Sherman Hoyt Trophy hosted by Brown University.  The Big Green finished ninth or better in every race of the 13 race series. Their consistency in a variety of conditions gave them a nine point edge over the boat from Boston University and helped Dartmouth win the overall trophy.

Around the Conference

Roger Williams University won the Oberg trophy at MIT. Boston College won the truncated Central Series, shortened due the gale force winds on Boston Harbor on Sunday. The McGill Redbirds won the Peak Foliage Regatta hosted by the University of New Hampshire at Tufts. The Coast Guard Academy took second place at the McMillan Cup at the Naval Academy.
